Why Do Network Strategies Deserve Our Attention?
Network strategies can help produce population-level results—that is, results that improve the well-being of a specific population, like the number of children who have access to health care coverage. A network is a set of relationships that are characterized by both strong and weak ties. Strong ties are characterized by high levels of trust, reciprocity, and sense of community, whereas weak ties cross boundaries and are a source of new ideas, information and resources.
